People sadly do not know how to reduce the red eye in pictures taken using cameras. Here's a nice way to go about doing that using adobe photoshop. Thanks to Ankur Sarawagi for modelling. :p

Here's a picture of him taken during h6 valfi last year:

Step 1:
Open the file in adobe photoshop and create a new channel mixture adjustment layer as follows:

Step 2:
Set the source channels at 0% Red, 50% Blue and 50% Green as follows:

The picture will look as if a faint greenish colour has been uniformly painted on it.

Step 3:
Select the channel mixture layer and fill it with black colour by pressing "alt + backspace".

We get back the original picture.

Step 4:
Select the brush tool and using the brush of the appropriate size, paint with white colour on top of the red eye portion.

Voila!

State of h7 paf prod

At one point of time, H7 was considered to be the best at creating outstanding prod. Look at what it has come to. Take a look at the frames, specially the top:

There were 2 frames that were 16 feet tall. One of them broke just before the PAF started. There was really no surprise looking at how the structures were made.

May those who took the level of prods and pafs of H7 to an entirely different league forgive these children, for they have sinned and they know not the path of a true heptalite. May heavens take pity upon us and shower upon us thine knowledge.

After innumerable requests from people to update my blog, I have decided to generally add something daily even if it is worthwhile or not. I am spreading my knowledge, which isn't too much anyway, and shall mostly be reminding people of things that they already know. Starting today, I have decided to have a themed blog, with the themes changing every week. As the title suggests, this week's theme is Mercury.

The planet Mercury as all people know is the planet closest to the sun. It's been named after the Roman mythical messenger of Gods, Mercury probably because of the speed at which it used to travel around the sun. It has the shortest orbital year as it has a small orbit and travels a lot faster than other planets around the sun.

Not much is known about this planet as only one space mission has resulted in a flyby past the planet, which resulted in mapping only 40% of the surface as it finishes a complete rotation about its axis once every 58 earth days.

The only notable feature about the surface is a spectacular impact crater, about 1350km in diameter that has been caused by the impact of an object about 100km across. It is the largest impact crater known till date in the Solar System.

Q My boyfriend, Terence, is an adventurous physics student always looking for new ways to improve our sex life. Recently he has been talking about Einstein and relativity, suggesting that we should try having sex at the speed of light or faster. But I am worried. If we were to engage in consensual sex at faster than the speed of light, would I go back in time, so that he would end up having sex with a 5 year old girl? And what are the potential legal implications of this?

A The area of physics which deals with speeds comparable to the speed of light is called relativity. Unfortunately for this question, Einstein’s special theory of relativity says that it is absolutely impossible for any information or matter to travel faster than the speed of light. This is backed up by a significant amount of experimental data and mathematical rigour. However, we can use relativity as a model to see what happens at speeds close to that of light.

As appropriate for any physical investigation, we must first make reasonable assumptions and simplifications to the real situation, so that our calculations become achievable, but still retain reliability. We will assume that your boyfriend in his aroused state is a rectangular box with a generous 9-inch cylinder protruding from about halfway along his length. Your boyfriend is on top of you, and is oscillating up and down, reaching a speed infinitesimally close to the speed of light for most of his upwards and downwards motions. With these simplifications in place, we can now treat your boyfriend as an inertial system, from which we can calculate the consequences of relativistic events.

One thing relativity tells us about is length contractions. This is the idea that the measured distance between two points depends on the frame of reference from which they are viewed. By convention, we define the proper length of an object (such as a penis) to be the length of the object measured by someone not moving with respect to it. Relativity then says that someone who is moving with respect to this object will always measure its length to be shorter than its proper length. So while your boyfriend’s penis is happily travelling along at close to the speed of light during intercourse, although he will perceive its normal 9-inches, from your frame of reference you will perceive it to have almost no length at all. This leads to an interesting paradox - you will see his penis having almost no length at all, but are somehow still managing to have sex with it.

So from your point of view, the faster he goes, the shorter his penis will get. But what he sees will be quite different. This is where relativistic time dilations come into it. Time dilation is basically the idea that in a moving frame of reference, all physical, chemical and biological processes slow down relative to a stationary frame of reference. So as your boyfriend thrusts in and out of you, while only taking a fraction of a nanosecond for each oscillation from his point of view; since you are in a stationary frame of reference, this time interval may be significantly longer for you. From your boyfriend’s point of view, the faster he goes, the faster you will age. Theoretically, if he was actually thrusting in and out at a speed infinitesimally close to the speed of light, then from his point of view, you would be aging extremely quickly, and would be long dead before he finally shot his load (legally, he would be committing necrophilia).

So far we have only been considering sex at sub-light velocities. However, we can speculate that there may be a loophole somewhere in relativity, and that this loophole might make sex at superluminal velocities attainable for brief moments. If so, then under certain conditions, it would be theoretically possible for your boyfriend to climax shortly before you actually start having sex with him (an extreme case of premature ejaculation!). Your boyfriend and his schlong, in other words, would assume for brief periods the characteristics of tachyons. I will admit that tachyons remain hypothetical, but then so do black holes, and who really doubts their existence anymore?

But I should warn you that there might be even more severe complications with this scenario. If we extend the general trend of length contraction (from your point of reference), then your boyfriend’s penis will gradually appear to get shorter and shorter as he speeds up, until at the speed of light it will appear to have no length at all (size does matter). But beyond the speed of light, things get even stranger, and your boyfriend’s penis will actually attain imaginary length (that is, it will have a length equal to the square root of a negative number). And from the relativistic prediction of mass increase with speed, this imaginary oscillating penis will attain beyond infinite mass, essentially becoming a black hole. This penis/black hole complex will generate an intense explosion, attracting anything and everything towards it through the curvature generated in space-time. Ultimately, you and your boyfriend will be inescapably pulled into the centre of this penis/black hole, ripped apart into your constituent atoms, and regurgitated out of the penis in the form of electromagnetic radiation.

It would be interesting to see how sex could be performed under such circumstances, but my guess is that it couldn’t be. In response to your original question, you would not go back in time, and he would not end up having sex with a 5 year old girl; but you have good reason to be worried! Don’t let your boyfriend pressure you into doing anything you don’t want to do.

This picture was taken in the window sill of Satyam's room. It had just rained heavily and the anthole was full of water which made the worker ants evacuate the building. The first one is that of some ants carrying a larva. The next one is another group of ants carrying a larva in which one can see the developing ant. Other ants can be seen carrying eggs.

I was generally looking around when i came across this posting from here. I really have no idea how I came across this. :D

In what is definitely one of the most bizarre occurances at Malhar through the years, a guy was caught jerking off on campus.

The dude was apprehended by a smart girl named Sonia( who is apparently OC Informals) as she was making her daily rounds of the college. One may speculate upon why she was making the rounds, and the only possible reason we could come up with is that she is eccentric to a degree...We were told that she is of an adventurous nature, and she does this to get more excitement out of life.

On the afternoon of the 12th, as Sonia climbed up to the second floor of college, she espied a cocky dude standing in the corridor, with his pants down, everything else up, and shagging with gay abandon. Sonia has always been quick witted, and she acted with resource remarkable for one of such a tender age...

She immediately switched her walkie-talkie to the "Broadcast to all" mode, and spake the following :

Sonia : Hey Security!!! Please come to the second floor! Someone is shagging, I repeat, SHAGGING here!"

Malhar Vice Chairperson Abhimanyu Radhakrishnan was the first on the scene, and he inquired as to whether he had heard her correctly, because he thought he heard her say 'shagging' and he saw no one doing so at present.

He was immediately apprehended by security, who live for such moments. Upon questioning, he first claimed that he was but tucking his shirt in.

Security knows how to elicit information and employed their methods...

Shaggy : "Ok...ok I admit it...here be what happened. I am a student from SIES Nerul..."

"And I had gone up there to practice for my event. Now as I started to singing Bhairav Raag, a curious thing happened...I gets a boner!!! I positiuely got into the mood!!! I spontaneously decided to start 'menstrubating'...and this girl here was watching me..,(points finger accusingly at Sonia)

(I have it on authority that he really said everything printed above...and neither security nor Sonia found anything wrong with the word menstrubating... - Ashu)

I've decided to take screenshots of Unreal Tournament 2004 and post them here. It's like a teaser for all UT fans like Golu, Ro, Srini, Thakur and Bolli (Bolli sucks at playing UT. He died twice while playing against one bot in novice level. :O )
This is a screenshot taken from Capture the Flag in the 'Facing Worlds' map. There are a couple more modified maps of the same, the screenshots of which I'll post later.

The blue coloured triangle that you see is one of the players who is defending the blue flag and the red streak in front of the red tower is the trail of a shock rifle.

I had to post this picture that was taken during the first show screening of the Telugu movie Andharivadu at Viswanath Theatre, Kukatpally (near Golu's place. The movie *s Chiranjeevi in a double role, Tabu, Rimmi Sen and another heroine who does nothing but show breasts. (a megastar in a double role must be a terastar. (pun intended) :D). Such is the fanaticism of fans of Telugu movie stars. Sigh, I miss the movies nowadays. :-(

This is a tribute to Aida of Unreal 2 who dies towards the end of the game to send a message to the protagonist, thus breaking the hearts of a few people who were playing the game. Satyam, Tikoo and I got extremely senti when the spaceship with Aida explodes. We were going for a treat that day and there were three people with long faces. If the makers of Unreal want Unreal 3 to be a success, they should do what the makers of Max Payne did - bring back the female whom they kill off towards the end of the game.
Aida is definetely one of the hottest females made for a game. She is definetely hotter than Lara Croft and the only person who could compete with her (looks and action wise) is Alyx Vance. More about Alyx tomorrow.
For now, if any of the makers of Unreal 2 stumbles upon this, there is a request I have - Bring back Aida.

We have no idea who Ramses IV is. The name just came to our mind as one of us was watching "The Ten Commandments" a few days back. This picture is one of the 'decorative pieces' that is for sale, as ALL objects are in Mocha, Hiranandani. It was a sentimental day for us as Thakur was leaving the next day, and we spent the two hours in Mocha talking about the labs we did during our stay. :-)
